tHE rUSSIAN dEBUTANTE bALL

The Russian Debutante Ball was one of the most glittering annual events on the London social calendar from 2013 to 2017. It took place at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall the first year, then subsequently at the 5-star Grosvenor House in Park Lane, long associated with the most glamorous debutante balls since the 1930s.
The agency secured the patronage of HH Princess Olga Romanoff, great-niece of the last tsar of Russia, Nicholas II, to add further prestige to the event.
Top stars of the world of ballet and music from the Bolshoi Ballet and Mariinsky Theatre flew over from Moscow and St Petersbourg, as well as from the Vienna State Opera, to perform at the event. Violinist Yuri Revich played on a Stradivarius made in 1709 and worth in excess of £2 million.
VIPs and celebrities have attended the ball throughout the years, such as HRH Princess Michael of Kent, Lord Frederick Windsor, Admiral Lord West, Bond girl Olga Kurylenko and many more.
World-class photographer Martin Parr, of renowned Magnum Photos, founded by the legendary Henri Cartier-Bresson, attended one year and his photos were subsequently published in a five-page feature in the Sunday Times.
